1mm to 36mm Industrial Solid Rivets | Round/Flat/Countersunk Head | Aluminum, Steel & Copper Fasteners

Solid Rivets are among the most reliable and strongest fasteners used in permanent structural applications. Consisting of a solid shaft and a head, they are deformed with a hammer or rivet gun to create a secondary head, locking materials together forever. Our rivets are available in Aluminum, Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, and Copper, meeting rigorous standards for aerospace, marine, and heavy industrial use.

  • Standard: DIN 660, DIN 661, ASME B18.1
  • Head Styles: Round (Button), Flat, Countersunk, Pan Head
  • Materials: Aluminum 1100/2117/6061, Steel, Brass, Copper
  • Diameter: 1mm to 36mm (Custom sizes available)

Heavy-Duty Solid Rivets for Permanent Structural Integrity

Our Solid Rivets are the preferred choice for applications where safety and durability are paramount. Unlike blind rivets, solid shank rivets require access to both sides of the structure but offer significantly higher shear strength and a tamper-proof finish. Whether you are assembling aircraft fuselages, steel bridges, or vintage automotive frames, our rivets provide a lifetime of vibration-resistant service.

Manufactured from premium raw materials, our rivets ensure excellent upsetting properties, allowing for a smooth and consistent formation of the shop head.

Versatile Styles for Every Application

  • Round Head (Button Head): The most common style, providing a large bearing surface and a neat, finished appearance.
  • Countersunk Head: Designed to sit flush with the material surface, ideal for aerodynamic or aesthetic requirements.
  • Flat Head: Used where a low-profile head is needed but flush mounting isn’t required.
  • Aluminum Solid Rivets: Lightweight and corrosion-resistant, essential for the aerospace and automotive industries.
  • Steel & Copper Rivets: Best for high-strength construction or decorative and conductive electrical applications.

How to Install Solid RivetsInstalling a solid rivet involves a process called “bucking”:

  1. Drill: Create a hole slightly larger (approx. 0.1mm) than the rivet shank diameter.
  2. Insert: Place the rivet through the holes of the materials to be joined.
  3. Set: Support the factory head with a “bucking bar” and strike the protruding shank with a rivet gun or hammer until it expands to form the second head.

Industry Applications

  • Aerospace: Aircraft wing and fuselage assembly (Aluminum rivets).
  • Marine: Shipbuilding and offshore structures (Stainless steel and Monel).
  • Infrastructure: Riveted steel bridges and historical building restoration.
  • Cookware & Knives: Securing handles with copper or brass solid rivets.
